Time for our photo challenge at Inkspirational.
I went a bit arty here and do love how it turned out:
And the photo that inspired this:
I used the colours and the flowers as inspiration.
The flower dies are from Concord and 9th and the sentiment is from Happy Little Stampers.
I water coloured a large piece of card using the colours in the photo. Then using this card I die cut the flowers curling the edges to add dimension. I then used just one edge of this card to layer the flowers on.
Our wonderful DT have come up with some amazing cards-check them out here and then get inky!
Enjoy!
I will enter this into:
Love the artsy look Sandie. So wonderful. πππ
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful Sandie ! Love the soft colours and the delicate design. A gorgeous way to give dimension and a lovely final dimensional touch with the coloured enamel dots in the center of the flowers. Thanks so much for sharing and for playing along at Less is More.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty, Sandie. These are such sweet pastel colors, and I really like the watercolor swaths on the left side beneath those delicate flowers. You always make such wonderful CAS cards! Bev
ReplyDeleteLooks like we both had the watercolor background idea! Great subtle color combo and lovely flowers!

Soft, delicate and so very pretty, Sandie ... all dreamy and delightful! Apologies for not being around much ... three colds on the trot have played havoc with my visits and commenting! Hugs, Anita :)
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful Sandie π... The softness is awesome
ReplyDeleteThe watercolouring looks great - very artsy.
ReplyDeleteSuch a darling little tea party in that photo … you've chosen to highlight those pretty daffodils, Sandie, and these C&9th blooms worked the charm! What a sweet little card... xx

ReplyDeleteThanks so much for sharing with us at Less is More, Anita x
The way you described your card process makes it sound easy and quick. Maybe it was for you, but from experience I spend more time on these kind of designs than on the more elaborate ones. But this is a great design for CASEing, and as you’ve done most of the work already, getting the layout and design idea in place, a cased card could be quick.
