Time Out #93

Hi All

We have a new challenge at Time Out and this is a special challenge are we are here is help raise awareness of Breast Cancer. Breast Cancer Awareness month starts in a few days and we want to remind you of how important it is to do a monthly check-it takes 5 mins-not sure how, check this link here

Onto our challenge:

Breast Cancer Awareness and/or Friendship Challenge with the optional twist of using pink

winner gets $25 gift voucher for CAS-ual Fridays and we have a special prize package for those who use pink (chosen randomly)

I went for the optional twist, using all CAS-ual Friday Products and sent the card to a very dear friend:

Here I have used the following from our fabulous sponsor CAS-ual Friday Stamps:

Full on Floral stamp-heat embossed in white and water coloured with pink water colour paint, trying to create an ombre look to match the photo at Calling All Sistahs, by slowy using less and less pink paint and drawing it down with more water
Pretty Posies stamps-flower and leaf heat embossed in white onto vellum and die cut Sentiment from the set also.
Pretty Posie Fri-Dies-to die cut flower and leaf
Tag Buddies Fri-Dies-to cut tag dies.

Our Guest Designer for this challenge is the very talented Yulia. Her blog is a delight to visit. Check it out here, it is full of creative projects. We are so pleased she has joined us for this very special challenge.

Our DT and Yulia have some great inspiration for you-check it out here.
Then take some time out and join in the fun-you have until 12th Oct 5pm BST to play x

I will enter this into:

Calling All Sistahs Encouragement Challenge-this time I didn't go with the colours but the ombre background in the photo-using wet on wet water colouring to give this effect and the florals for the cloud look-see info of this above in card description.

  1. So pretty, Sandie ... the watercolour ombré background is soft and lovely ... and fabulous with the delicate vellum bloom! What a gorgeous combination the kraft is with the pink ... I hardly use kraft, but you've made it rather tempting here! Hugs, Anita :)

  4. I'm very proud to own this beauty! :) The kraft base you've used really lets the pink and white shine and that floral background stamp is so pretty... Great idea to watercolor it in ombre style. I have some background stamps where I could try this... Thanks for inspiration!
