Time Out #112

Hi All

Time for a new challenge at Time Out Challenges.

We are challengeing you to be:

'Warm'

I immediately thought of sunshine but then deicdd to go a completely different way and thought of a warm up of tea. And what could be more refreshing than a warm cuppa on a hot day.

I have used our sponsor, CAS-ual Fridays stamp set Serendipi-tea

The winner of this challenge will get a $25 voucher to spend in their amazing store!!

Those who follow me will be thinking....no, Sandie didn't make this...but I did!
A real doily and patterned paper and most definitely not CAS. We all need to step out of our comfort zone now and then!

I actually love how this look but it may be a year or two before you see this kind of card from me again!

I sent it to a teamie at Time Out as she is a sweet beautiful friend, but I also wanted to give her a kick and a laugh when she opened it and realised it was from me!

Our Guest Designer for this challenge is the very creative Marieke. Her cards are amazing.
Check out her inspiring blog here

For more inspiration pop on over to Time Out and you will see some stunning cards from our GD and super Design Team.

  1. Seems our thoughts went in the same direction... Even if it is warm I do like nothing better than spent some time drinking tea and talking with a friend...
So beautiful these images with all the hearts and sunny paper! Hugs, Gerrina

  3. You already know how sweet, pretty and feminine I found this, Sandie ... and what a smile it brought to my face and heart on opening it! Actually, it has me smiling all over my face again right now ... both at the memory and because I'm sipping tea at this moment! Thank you! Hugs, my friend, Anita :)

  6. You stepped out of your comfort zone most beautifully, my friend. I really love the stripes with the doily - a wonderful contrast. Love that the tea pot and cup are stamped and not colored. Wonderful compostion. I love it and you.
