At Inkspirational our challenge is our 'prompt word' challenge and the word is:
Glamour
Here is my take on this word:
I went with the texture and colours of glamour as I see them. I have always thought purple, teal and gold as glamorous. I embossed the doily stamp in gold and then went to work with the brushos mixing the purple and teal. I really didn't know how it would turn out. I didn't like the splotches of deep purple at first but after leaving it to try over night decided they looked great. You really do need to leave those brushos to dry over night to see what they look like in the end!
I liked the background so much I didn't want to cover it with a sentiment strip so used deliacta gold ink and vellum.
Our Guest Designer is my fellow teamie and friend, Joyce, at Time Out Challenges. I know many of you know her but her creativity really does bloom-take a her blog Cards-by-the-Sea and you will come away inspired.

Gorgeous Sandie. Love this mix of colours ... they are glamorous together. And I agree with leaving brushos to dry ... they change so much from when they are wet and always look better. xx
