Hello my fiends,

Time for a new challenge at Time Out Challenges. This time around we have our 'Inspired by Words' challenge and our words this week are:
'Love the trees until their leaves fall off, then encourage them to grow again next year' (Chad Sugg)
You can use any of the words in the phrase to inspire you are focus on the whole phrase. I decided to go with the word 'encourage' and made a card that I thought could be used to encourage someone who needed it on a particular day...say for an interview, exam etc. But also I could use this for a Birthday-well lots of reasons really.
In the end this was posted off as a Birthday card.
CAS-ual Fridays are our sponsors for this challenge and the sentiment stamp is from their Sassy Smiles set. And there is that snowflake stamp again being used for what I thought was like sun rays but really used to highlight the 'Smiles'.
Our Guest Designer this week is the very talented and creative Rema. Have a browse around her blog here
The winner of this challenge will get a $25 gift voucher to spend at CAS-ual Fridays so I think it is time for you to take some TIME OUT and get inky and join in the fun.
Our DT have all made superb cards to inspire you.Take a look here
I will enter this into:

One Layer Simplicity Challenge-back in time. My colours are pretty 70's (got that idea from Ardyth) plus I am saying this is back in time as this card has already been posted!
Love the trio of bursts. The colors are fabulous!
ReplyDeleteHa! Harvest Gold, Avocado and Pumpkin really evoke the 70s for me too! Well done! So glad you joined us at OLS this month!
ReplyDeleteIt really is an encouraging card and perfect for any occasion or no specific occasion, but a card for a time when someone needs an encouragement. It's not gender specific either, so it's as versatile as it can get. It'll come in handy, I'm sure.
ReplyDeleteLove this--so very happy--like bursting with happiness, and you are right that it is perfect for so many occasions.
ReplyDeleteSuper fun card Sandie! Love it.
ReplyDeleteFantastic bursts of sunshine and encouragement, Sandie!
ReplyDeleteWhat a happy card, Sandie and sure to put a smile of the recipient.
