Spring always comes!

Hi All

Hope you all had a fun weekend.

Popping in quickly with a card inspired by a couple of challenges:


This came together very quickly in my mind when I saw the one layer challenge 'leaf' challenge at Less is More. I was inspired to use this leaf stamp (from Papertrey) and design when I thought of the  sketch at CAS(E) THIS Sketch. It is a CAS take on the sketch but the falling leaves seemed to mimic the panel under the sentiment in the sketch.

A sentiment from Verve fitted this card perfectly and just a quick run through my linen embossing plate and done!

    One layer challenges are just made for you, Sandie. I love this stamp and the sentiment is just perfect. Great idea to round the corners too as it mimics the curve of the leaves.

    I clicked on the photo to have a better view of the dry embossing, Sandie and I think it's just great to add some subtle texture to your beautiful CAS card!!!! I have that leaves stamp and I might just CASE your card - it's really lovely and a wonderful and creative take on the sketch!!!!

    This is just the perfect little CAS card. Love it! I'm pretty sure I need to find a linen embossing plate now. Love the subtle texture.
