Hi All
It's time for a new challenge at Time Out Challenges.
It is our 'Inspired by Words' challenge and our words are:
''Flowers and Friends make life a garden'
You can use any of these words or the whole phrase to inspire what you create.
I went with flowers and friend:
This challenge is sponsored by STAMPlorations and my sunflower stamp and 'amazing' die are both from their wonderful store.
I stamped and water coloured the sunflower in orange and yellow-I had a go at bending them! Just splattered some orange water colour paint around. Cut out the 'amazing' die using fun foam. I do love how sunny and bright this looks!
We are honoured to have Michele as our Guest Designer for this challenge. I know many of you will be aware of her blog I Card Everyone-this blog is one of my very own favourites. Michele is not only an amazing and creative designer but so fun and supportive-so pleased you joined us Michele.
Our DT have all made super cards-check them out here then take some TIME OUT and join in the fun. You have until Wed June 7th BST to play x
I will enter this into:
CASology-Loud-like Sherrie my colours get louder from the centre yellow flower to the very loud orange!!
Inspired by Little Things-this time going with the yellow and orange flowers
STAMPlorations-CAS card challenge-not going with twist
Sandie you make me smile... both your card, and your words are so very sweet! I had such a hard time deciding which Stamplorations set to purchase - this lovely was in and out of my cart so many times!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the invitation, and for making it so fun! xx

Lovely and sunny, so fitting for the weather now!
ReplyDeleteBright, sunny and full of warmth, Sandie ... perfectly accented with those delicate splatters! Hugs, Anita :)
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining Inspired by all the little things with your pretty card!
ReplyDeleteLove those soft splatters in the background. Fab card Sandie.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sunshine-y card Sandie! The yellow and orange colour combo is perfect for that sunflower and it creates a beautiful warm vibe! So pretty!
ReplyDeleteLove that sunflower! And your card looks so sunny and cheerfull; great how the splatters bind it all! Hugs, Gerrina
ReplyDeleteWell you certainly chose the correct word for this card because it really is amazing! Beautiful card Sandie!
ReplyDeleteI love that bold, orange "amazing"! Glad you could join us this week at Inspired By All The Little Things!
ReplyDeleteBright and beautiful Sandie. LOVE that sunflower and the mix of stamped and die-cut sentiment. Great design!! xx
ReplyDeleteYes indeed Sandie, sunny and bright! I love the cheerful color combination and your coloring looks great -almost whole team was water coloring in this challenge! Love the splatters too.
ReplyDeleteYellow is a colour my Mum always tried to make me wear when I was a kid. I hated it but it always makes me smile when I see it on a card as it reminds me of the arguments we had over something so trivial.
ReplyDeleteNot only is this loud, it is also warm, in every way. What a lovely card. Thanks so much for playing along at CASology this week.
ReplyDeleteOh I love this wonderful sunflower colored so beautifully. That awesome orange die cut sentiment placed over fabulous sunflower is fantastic!!!!! What a perfect combination. The spatters finish it off beautifully. I love it!
ReplyDeleteI love that the sentiment is in orange!! This is such a great card!
ReplyDeleteLOVE that HUGE yellow bloom and splatter!
ReplyDeleteI think the splatter is a great technique for adding additional color and to limit the white empty space. I like how it picks up the color of the die cut sentiment.
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful Sandie! LOVE the loud colors!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for joining us at Casology this week!
Hey Sandie!! I love the loudness of your colors! Nicely done.
ReplyDeleteSorry I forgot to add: Thank you so much for playing with us this week at CASology.
