Nonni and Sandie's First kit!

Hi All

Nonni and I decided to do a little kit club with just the 2 of us. Nonni recently sent me a kit full of amazing goodies. I had a lot of fun playing with all this pack and made quite a few cards. It is great to stretch your creativity using crafting goodies you don't have.

Today we are sharing 2 cards with you.

Here is my first:

I used these stunning gold embossed flowers colouring one with copics to match the 'Hello' panel. The coloured one is popped up on foam pads for dimension. I just added some enamel gold dots to match the gold embossing. I do love how this turned out.

I will enter this into the sketch at Less is More-I just moved the sentiment-see sketch at the bottom of this post.

My second card was used making this gorgeous tiny flower that Nonni sent me. The beautiful layered stamping was all done my Nonni. I just arranged this on a label die and used the colours of the flower for this rest of the card. The yellow is actually glitter foam. I also love how this card turned out-so full of spring hope

Please check out what Nonni made using the same pack here

We will be back another with a few more cards from the pack.

Have a great day x

Honey I Shrunk The Kit-Heartfelt

Hello All

The Honey babes are back with 'Honey I shrunk the Kit'  virtual reality crafting session.

Here is a list of the Honey Babes and the links to their blogs:

Anita-our new Babe-welcome Anita
Hazel
Sarah Gray
Sarah Platt
Shona

This time Sarah G made up our kit of goodies and named it:

Heartfelt

You can see a photo and product list of all these goodies at the bottom of the post.

I just loved all these goodies and got to crafting as soon as it arrived.

Here are the cards I made:

Card 1-I used this gorgeous funky heart die matched with a few tiny hearts. The main panel is textured and the sentiment is from STAMPlorations

Card 2-I used the die and hearts from the pack. The wooden peg is from a pack my Mum gave me for Xmas-I just added a little heart die from the pack and covered it all in WOS. This went to hubby for Valentine's-he loved it. Aren't those pegs fab, I will be using these more-thanks Mum

I will enter this card into:

Addicted to CAS-wood-my little wooden peg from Mum fits this perfectly!

Card 3-very unusual to see a shaker card from me as I find them so hard to make but this was so much fun-all goodies from the pack with the sentiment from Verve

Card 4-yes a doily! Another unusual element to see in my cards but I love the end result. I actually managed to make it CAS. I cut the hear die from glitter fun foam and the sentiment is from Happy Little Stamper

Here is the pack Sarah sent us:

Image may contain: text

Products in this pack-a range of images including Mama Elephant, Winnie & Walter, Paper Smooches and Neat and Tangled. The die cuts are from Simon Says Stamp, Avery Elle and Tonic.

I had so much fun with this pack and still have so many goodies left. A huge thank you to Sarah xx

All the Honey Babes had the same products to play with. I haven't seen what they have made but am very excited to visit each of their blogs-why not do the same-the list is at the top of this post.

Have a fun day x

Inkspirational #129

Hi All

We have a new challenge at Inkspirational. It is our word prompt challenge and the word is:

Connect

I have used 'connect' as a verb-being associated with a group of like minded people (yes I used the dictionary!)

This card is for a crafty friend across the miles:

I am not so hot at masking but I got the idea for this card when I saw Jane's card here in January. I liked her super CAS version of masking and thought this was such a clever way to use masking for those of us who are not really into complicated masking!

The London Skyline is from Happy Little Stamper-Wish You Were Here stamp set. The sun ray stamp is from Visible Images (that snowflake die I use for so many images). I just stamped the sky line then masked off below this and stamped the sun rays so the bottom half didn't  stamp....nice and easy masking!

Our DT have other inspiring ways to use 'connect' to create. Take a look here and then get inky x

Love and Hugs

Hi There

Back again today with card 2 using the sketch at CAS(E) this Sketch

All the stamps today are from The Ton. The heart is stamped and then I heat embossed the 'love' on black card and fussy cut it out-used foam pads to pop this up. Then stamped 'the hugs'. I added a few tiny red gems at the bottom right to follow the dots from the heart.

I will be back tomorrow with card 3 using this sketch (yes I loved it!)

Hugs and Kisses

Hi Again,

I don't normally post twice in on day but today I did my first bit of crafting for a long time and wanted to share one of the cards I made.

Mojo went missing for some time plus a poorly shoulder has kept me away from my craft desk. However today I have made 3 cards and I will share these with you over the next few days.

It was the sketch this week at CAS(E) this Sketch that helped boost me into action!

Here is the first card I made with this sketch:

I kisses stamp I can't rememeber where this is from. I combined this with sentiment stamps from The Ton-stamping 'hugs' and heat embossing 'and kisses'-just popped this up on foam pads for a little dimension.

I will be back tomorrow with card 2 using this sketch x

AAA Cards #84

Hi There,

I hope you are all having a fun weekend and ready to join in our new challenge at AAA Cards.

Today our theme is

 'Clean and Simple Watercolour cards'

Here is my card:

I heat embossed this splatter flower image and then used yellow water colour paints for the centre splashes. I then lightly outlined the embossed flower with a mix of blue and yellow water colour paints to give me a very light green. The die cut sentiment is cut from fun foam to pick up the yellow centre colour. The die is from STAMPlorations and the flower from Visible Images

Brusho Fun

Hi All

Over at Less is More they are celebrating their 6th Birthday-congrats and love the new look.

I made this card for thier latest challenge-to use 3 adjacent colours on the colour wheel. I used yellow, orange and red.

A bit dull here in London-so I apologise for all those shadows!

The solid section of the butterfly is die cut from a brusho sheet where I mixed yellow and orange. I spent some time the other day making up brusho sheets I could use for die cutting. A lot of fun doing this and have some fab colour mixes to use.
The top part of the butterfly is red vellum. Just added a few gems and sequins to finish the card.

AAA Cards #83

Hi All,

We have a new challenge for you at AAA cards.
We are asking you to make 'Clean and Simple' Love themed card with the option of making a card in a different shape.

As you can see I went with a long and thin card.

I just die cut the love sentiment in my fav purple colour. This time using fun foam in puple glitter. I also did the same with the die cut heart. Tod add some interest I added a few score lines. This actually went to hubby for his Xmas card o was made a while ago.

One of our Guest Designers for this challenge is the very talented Kylie-owner and designer of  Happy Little Stampers who are sponsoring this challenge. The winner will get $15 gift voucher to spend in their store.

Our other Guest Designer is Sharon-her blog is full of creative projects-take a look here
