Time Out Reminder

Happy Friday Eve,

Have you joined in our latest challenge at Time Our Challenges?

It is our CASE challenge.

Here is my card using the latest sketch at CAS(E) this Sketch.

This is a CASE of Alice's card here:

I picked out the kraft and pops of red.

I used all Uniko stamps for this and had originally built up a die cut with glossy accents but over night it fell out and I decided I preferred with just the kraft. Plus I now have a glossy 'love' die cut to use at another time!

Our Guest Designer this week is Rema. Her cards are always so inspiring, check them out here

Then kick back and take some time out to craft with us at Time Out Challenges

Time Out Challenges #36

Hi all

I am home now from a wonderful holiday in Greece. I may have had some time out from my normal schedule however I am here with you today to take some Time Out and craft with you at Time Out Challenges.

It is our CASE week and this time we are CASEing the very talented Alice. Her blog, Alice's Little Wonderland is a joy to visit..so go on over there!

First off my CASE of Alice's card-I went for the colours, the positioning and the Kraft base.

I am currently doing an on line water colouring class at Craftsy. The tutor is Deepti. I am sure many of you know her and the class is really easy to follow and packed full of ideas. I have used a couple of techniques here to make this tag. I am not overly happy with the look and more practise is needed but it is fun to try out new ideas.

Our Guest Designer this week is Rema. Her cards are fabulous and we are honoured she is joining us.

The DT have again excelled with CASEing Alice's fun card, take a look here and then get crafty.

Here is Alice's card:

Home Again!

Hello my blogging friends,

My holiday was wonderful, sun and more sun. The total relaxation I was looking for. I may not have been commenting on your cards as I usually do but am slowly getting back into action.

I am doing Deepti's water colouring class here and was just about to jump into the next lesson when I saw the prompt word at CASology-Line-an idea immediately popped into my head. I knew the stamps I wanted to use and here is what I came up with:

The heart and sentiment stamps are both from Paper Smooches. I just added my own life line with a red pen and ruler. I then had to use a couple of my fav crafting tools-linen embossing plate and the corner chomper...crafting fix done!!

I am also going to enter this into the 'chevron' challenge at Addicted to CAS and the colour challenge at Uniko-black and white with a splash of colour.

Addicted to Stamps and More #153

Hello crafty friends,

I am here to share with you my card for the latest 'Holiday' challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More

All these stamps are from Winnie and Walter. I do love the combo of the turquoise and gold embossing. Again I have gone with one layer to help that postage cost not bankrupt me this Christmas!

We are sponsored by Stitchy Bear Stamp and you could win 3 of their fabulous images.

Please take a look at what our amazing DT have created here to inspire you.

I am going to enter this into the 'sparkle and shine' challenge at One Layer Simplicity

Time Out Challenges #35

We have a new challenge starting today at Time Out Challenges.

It is our theme challenge with an optional twist and this time we are going with:

Nature with the optional twist of Animals

For this challenge we are sponsored by CAS-ual Fridays stamps and for those who twist with us we will be doing a random draw to win a $20 gift voucher to their store.

Here is my card:

I went with wood grain for the nature and butterfly for the animal (we are allowing butterflies as animals)

This butterfly is a felt sticky that was a Birthday pressie (thank you Kim). I coloured in different sections using promakers and WOS.

Our Guest Designer for this challenge is Barb. I have for a long time admired Barb's cards. Her blog Barb's Studio's Creations is well worth a visit.

Now it is your turn to take some TIME OUT and join in the fun.

Happy Birthday Kylie!

Today is a super, super special day as my very dear friend is entering a new decade!

Many of you, I am sure, know Kylie, and if not, pop over to her blog, Kylie is Addicted to Stamps and see how very creative she is.

I met Kylie last year when she came to visit me in London and we had a ball. We spent 5 days laughing and to this day we still chat often on sykpe and it feels like we are just next door having a coffee and natter and gossipping (just a bit!!)

For Kylie's Birthday I wanted to make her a card that reminded her of London. Here is it:

Kylie designed my watermark and I love how it matches this skyline stamp from Clearly Besotted Stamps

The skyline is covered in WOS which is sparkling while London celebrates one special Lady.

Love and hugs to you Kylie!

Inkspirational #86

Hi All

It is my turn at Inkspirational to choose the challenge and I have gone with:

Grunge

With my card today I wanted to show you that grunge doesn't always have to be masculine. I have made a pretty pink card with a touch of grunge-all the stamps are form STAMPlorations

Our DT have all come up with some fabulous grunge cards for you. Take a look here and then get inky!
