Hi All,

Time for a new challenge at Inkspirational. This week we have a stunning photo for you.

Here is what I made and I think you will easily see how I was inspired!

And here is the photo:

Yep, those stunning flowers totally inspired me. However, no surprise, I changed them from blue to purple.

I used a flower and die are both from STAMPlorations. I had a lot of fun water colouring this. Splashing some paint over the card, just like in the photo.

Our Guest Designer for this challenge is the very talented Lynda, check out here blog here and prepare to be inspired!

So what will inspire you?

Check out what our DT made here and then get creating-enjoy!

I will enter this into:

Birthday Wishes

Hi All

Life is getting in the way at the moment so I am just popping in quickly with a card I made inspired by a few challenges;

I was inspired by the colours and the photo at Altenew June Inspiration Challenge and used the sketch at CAS(E) this Sketch for my lay out.

I heat embossed this Altenew flower in burgandy and then coloured the backside of the vellum with the soft pink. I added a few splashes of the soft pink for a little more interest. These are actually stamped using a splash stamp from visible images.

The sentiment is also from Altenew

Have a fun day x

Time Out #85

Hi There,

Time for a new challenge at Time Out Challenges.

This time it is our 'Home Sweet Home' photo challenge

Here is my card:

And here is the photo:

Laura Ashley Blog | SPRING / SUMMER 2015 INTERIOR TRENDS | http://blog.lauraashley.com:

This Papertrey die was a present from Time Out teamie and friend Joyce. As soon as I saw the die this photo came to mind. When I first saw this photo I was going to go with hummingbirds but my eyes kept being drawn to the leaves framing the photo. Then I got this happy mail from Joyce and I just knew this die was perfect.

The sentiment is from our sponsor for this challenge Happy Little Stampers

Our Guest Designer for this challenge is the very creative Ashwini. I have followed Ashwini for a long time and her creativity never fails to inspire me. Check out here blog here and I am sure you will come away ready to get inky!

Inkspirational #136

Hi There

Time for a new challenge at Inkspirational.

We have our designer's challenge and this week the very dear and inspiring Carol has chosen:

Windows

I was a bit unsure of what to make for this but as I was pondering I found some scraps on my desk and created this window card:

It wasn't until I had finished that I realised these scraps were from an Inspirational challenge card I made a few challenges ago! Still, I decided to stick with it as I quite like the card and it shows you that you should never throw away those bits and bobs!!

The Guest Designer for this challenge is the very creative designer Pam-check out her blog here and you will see what I mean!

Pam and our DT have all made amazing cards-check them out here and then get inky!

Happy Little Stampers June CAS Challenge

Hello Crafting Friends,

It is time for our monthly 'Clean and Simple' challenge at Happy Little Stampers

This month we want to see:

Clean and Simple cards using the 'smoosh' technique.

Here is my card:

I have never tried this before and had to watch a few videos before attempting this for the first time. You can check out some videos on our main blog here.

First off I heat embossed the Eiffel Tower stamp from the Happy Little Stampers set 'Wish You Were Here' (my sentiment is from this set also). I then used an acetate sheet to mix up some barn door distress ink with water and smooshed it over the image. I then did the same but with yellow water colour paint. I just smooshed it all around, let it dry and mounted it all on a black card base. It is a different card for me but I do like the effect. It was sent to a very dear French crafty buddy who I thought might like my first attempt at a new technique...even if it was to have a giggle!

Our DT have all made super cards to inspire you-take a look here and then get inky

The winner will get a $15 discount from the store

Another Ardyth CASE!

Happy Friday

I have another card CASEing the fabulous Ardyth for the Muse Card Club.

This time I also had a few other challenges in mind also.

But first my card:

And Ardyth's card:

Here are the elements I went with:

-Using a different coloured card base to the main panel-I used a cream base and a white panel

-using a stitched die for the main panel-(from STAMPlorations)

-using a big sentiment-although mine is a die (from CAS-ual Friday Stamps) and a small one underneath

-using small star stamps and 3 sequins-I used these in the same places as Ardyth.

I did flip my card and also didn't add the silver glitter.

Again, I love how it turned out...Ardyth sure makes it easy!

I also had in mind, when making this card, the new challenge at CAS-ual Fridays-this is to make a card of encouragement for a friend. Check it out here. I went with the colours and the purple and white theme in the photo. My card uses one of their dies and is off to a very dear friend who needs a reminder I love her and she totally rocks!

I will also enter it into Less is More-shimmer-my die is made from a brusho sheet that has gold shimmer spray on it.

Have a fun day x

CASEing Arydth!

Hello there,

Have you seen Ardyth turned 50 this week! A very Happy Birthday young Lady!

Over at Muse there is a fun challenge to CASE one of Arydth's card. Ever since I have been crafting Arydth has been an inspiration to me and I have CASEd many of her cards. I especially like her CAS graphic cards.

I have so many I would like to CASE but time may not allow this week. However I did make one yesterday and am so happy with how it turned out.

Here is is:

And here is Arydth's card I CASED:

The elemnets I chose were:

-a square card (so unusual for me and I did struggle to get the measurements right!)

-the placement of the sentiment-I have had this sentiment for Father's day on my craft table so hunted through the cards I had tagged of Aryth's card and found one that suited this style of sentiment.

-the rainbow strip-here I used the STAMPlorations grunge stamp and repeated stamping it in rainbow colours on a separate piece of card and then just attached it to my main panel. I decided not to add a black stripes as these grungy stripes are less graphic than Arydth's card.

-the placement of the sequins but I went for coloured enamel dots instead of sequins as for my card I think this looked better.

Wow, you can see I was totally inspired and thank you Arydth for being a continual inspiration! And heh, 50 is so young!

I will also enter this into:
