Time Out #164

Hi Crafty Friends

Time for our photo challenge at Time Out
This is my favourite challenge and here is what I created:

Inspired by this photo:

I hope it is easy to see that the bunting and colours inspired me!
But there is so much here to inspire you-the cake, the pinata-this could look like a unicorn, horse...artistic license allowed here!.....ooh and if you take  a closer look you can see the wire shelf and can you spot those yellow dots!
I am sure you can spot many other things and I can't wait to see them!!

Our sponsors for this challenge are Funky Fossil Designs and here I have used their stencil Banners and Bunting

Our Guest Designer for this challenge is the very talented Sathya. Her cards are amazing and I am a major fan! Take a look at her blog here and you will see what I mean!
Welcome Sathya, it is an honour to have you join us!

Pop on over to Time Out and have a look at what Sathya and our super Design Team have made to inspire you!

Time to take some Time Out and play!

You Are Incredible!

Hello Crafty Friends,

Today is a day I needed to make my fav kind of card-one layer and just stamping....time to clear the head of too many worries!

So I played with this fab Erin Lee Creative Stamp set that my wonderful cousin Lynn gave me...also she gave me the dies...can't wait to use them!

I used the colours from Color Throwdown-the gold is delicata ink which is so good for me at the moment as hubby has taken over the area I have for crafty and I can't emboss often...working from home during this pandemic!

I love the font on this sentiment. I am very really am fussy about fonts and this one I just love!

I hope you are all well and sending hugs x

I will enter this into:
Fab Friday-sketch-a new challenge to me but now signed up!
Darnell's NBUS-used the sentiment before but not these gorgeous elephants!

Butterflies and Flowers!

Hi All

I rarely post 2 cards on one day but I was looking through some challenges this morning and Instagram and got inspired to make this card:

I had seen some challenges I wanted to play in and then when I say Milla's card here-inspiration struck! Thanks Milla!

I used my new dies form Penny Black and the flower and butterfly die from Poppy Stamps.
I decided against a sentiment as I like it just the way it was.
To emphasise the butterfly I added some sparkle and a pearl.

Have a good day x

These are the challenges that inspired these cards:

Poppy Stamps-CAS
The flower Challenge-navy and one other colour
Fusion-going with the photo-I liked the CAS look of the photo and the prominent blue of the butterfly
Penny Black Anything goes-option not taken.

   06-20 copy

Friends!

Hi All

I have a 'one layer' card for a few challenges and to you all, my crafty friends!

I just masked off the bottom part of the card and sponged in purple the star stencil by Funky Fossil Designs and stamped the sentiment.

This was inspired by the following challenges:

Less Is More-borders
AAA Cards-one layer with optional twist of graphic-I went with the option with my stars
Cupcake Inspirations-Friendship and I also loved the purple in the photo and the sprinkles on the cake actually got me thinking of this stencil!
Day of the Month-repeat day-lots of stars!

New Goodies!

Hi There

Yesterday I got some goodies from America that were Birthday presents from my Mum and Dad and my crafty cousin and dear friend Lynn.

Plus another family member asked me to make a card for her Mum and she wanted flowers and butterflies and blues! So with all these new goodies I got to work and came up with this:

I used CASual Frdiays floral background, heat embossed on navy card. I die cut the panels with my new Penny Black Frame Dies. The sentiment is from Erin Lee Creative-thank you Lynn...you remembered the set I loved! And ended of with stitched butterflies from Poppy Stamps and added some green enamel dots.

It was fun using all my new goodies and even more that I was making it for a dear Family member!

I will enter:

Color Throwdown-quite a hard combo but I got there!
Have a fun day x
