Totally Awesome!

 Hi All

Hope you are all well.

I have been wanting to enter a couple of challenges but hadn't got around to it but the quote at Time Out today inspired me to get on with it! I had been playing around with sentiments and it was the quote that made me focus on friendship.

Here is my card:

Yep one layer!
I loved the challenge at AAA Cards-no layers and a big sentiment.
Plus the challenge at AAA Birthday-Your 2 fav colours for card making-mine are purple and grey (I could also go with purple and yellow but went the grey route today)

These sentiments are all from CAS-ual Fridays and the hardest part of this card was lining up each word!

I enjoyed making this and am happy how it turned out!

Have a fun day x

One Card-lots of Loves!

 Hi All

At Time Out they are challenging us to be 'in love'.

I haven't been crafting much but thought this would be a good opportunity to make a valentine's card for hubby using all the things I love about card making:

-one layer

-purple

-stamping only and off the edge

-positioning in the right hand corner

-enamel dots

-black and white stripes

-and of course my linen embossing plate

So a card full of love for hubby and of my card making style-here it is:

So thank you Time Out for getting me crafting!
I would also like to enter it into:
WaterCooler Wednesday-anything Feminine

Have a good day x

CASology #399

 Hi All

Time for our first challenge of 2022 at CASology and our cue word is 'Renew'

I went with renewing a friendship and what better way to do that than to send with the sentiment 'Let's chat'!!

Simple die cut bubble with a stamped sentiment all in one corner to keep the card as CAS as possible!

Our team have all come up with new some super inspiration-take a look here and then join us!

Enjoy!

Gin Time!

 Hi All

A very Happy New Year.

I haven't bought new stamps for ages but just before Christmas I bought 2 sets from Visible Images-ones I knew would be used a lot!

My niece just got engaged on Christmas Day and I wanted to make her a card:

I didn't add a sentiment as I thought it looked just right as it was.
I haven't heat embossed for a while so it took a few attempts!

I am going to enter this into:

Time Out-New-using my new stamps

Have a good day x

Time Out and Crafty Friends Inspire!

 Hi All

Hope you had a very peaceful Christmas.

I actually made some cards yesterday and am hoping this is a good sign that my mojo is returning!

As soon as I saw the challenge at Time Out-Inspiration I knew what I wanted to make!

I had seen a card by Hanniele back in June and asked her if I could CASE it and she kindly said yes! Have a peak at her card here-normally I would have made the card a one layer as well but wanted to choose the option at Time Out and add layers....to shock the DT!!

Here is my version:

I have always loved cream and white in card making and yellow just seemed fun to brighten up a dull Winter's day. I placed the sentiment to tuck in the curve of the yellow swirl.
I enjoyed making this and a huge thank you to Hanniele for inspiring me!

Have a fun day!

CASology #398

 Hi All

Time for our last challenge of 2021 at CASology and our cue word is 'Above'.

Here is my take:

I went through a few ideas for this and after looking through my dies came up with the idea of layering dies on top if each other-one 'above' the other!

I have used used an open die 'above' the solid die and cut it in vellum-vellum really is a great idea when making CAS cards!

Our Design Team have come up with some great inspiration for you-pop on over to our blog and have a look!
Then enjoy playing along!!

Time Out-Precious!

Hi All

Been a while since I have been crafty but I needed a card for my Mum and Dad's 59th Wedding Anniversary so got to it!

My craft buddy Anushree makes some super gifts and she made one for my Mum and Dad-have a look below and I based my card on this. You can see Anushree's super collection of gifts here

As you can see I got the woodgrain in using an embossing plate and the gold in by gold embossing some splatter stamps then layered up with the die cuts. I really love the card and was so pleased I did after so long not crafting!

Here is Anushree's super gift:

I am popping this off to Time Out-cue word-Precious...nothing more precious than 'love'-they also have a DT call, check it out.

Have a good day x
