A Card!!

 Hi All

Been a while since I actually did some crafting, life has been a little tough at the moment but today I did sit myself down and had a go at making a few cards. 

I haven't been visiting much or been on IG as much as normal but hopefully will be back in bits here and there when I can. 

Here is one:

I used all Funky Fossil Designs stamps for this card.

The idea for this came from the current challenge at Less is More-Occupations. I wasn't sure what I wanted to do and just went through my stamps and came across this set and thought of bee keeping (fancy name for this-Apiarist!). In London-where I live-more and more people are keeping bees to make their own honey to sell...and yummy it is!

I used the design for this from the current challenge at AAA Cards-along the edge-I would say for the reason I give above about our increasing bee keepers in this country, I did go with the option.

CASology #402 Fluffy

 Hi All

Time for a new challenge at CASology

Our cue word for this month is 'Fluffy'.

My mind went straight to feathers...probably beacuase I was playing with my cat and he has lots of fluffy feather toys!

So I went with this!

Simple stamping with a tiny gem!

Time For Wine!

 Hello Crafty Friends,

Hope you are all well.

Checking my calendar this morning I realised I needed a card for my neighbour's Birthday on Saturday.

 I am not good at creating at the last minute so had a hunt through blogland for a sketch to me-he likes red wine so I knew I wanted to use this stamp set from Visible Image .

Just Add Ink's Sketch inspired me and I created this:

The wine bottle I actually stamped and fussy cut out first and have popped it up for some dimension.

I think he will like this....along with a real bottle of red!

 Hi All

I hope you are all well.

I needed a Mother's Day card for my Mother-in Law and was stuck for a design until I saw the sketch at CAS Colour and Sketches.

I loved it and knew I had some flowers in my stash that I could use to make a card.

And done!

The flowers are from my crafty friend Joyce-she sent them to me a while ago and I loved how they came together here and worked with the sketch-thank you Joyce x

Here is a card I made this morning for some challenges.....and I actually did some colouring....blending and all!!

The colours I got from this week's challenge at Just Us Girls-sage green was a bit tough as I don't have any ink like that, so I blended some copics as close to it as I could. Plus added that touch of DP for a touch more.

Inkspirational-curve-gave me the idea to add the curly cloud and curve off the edge of the card.

You are Incredible!

 Hi All

I am here, a little late, to celebrate Woman's Day, which was on the 8th.

There is a hop going on here on Instagram to celebrate and I wanted to join in.

A few challenges caught my eye and helped inspire me to create this card:

Yes, all you Woman out there are incredible in your own precious way!

It was the 'curve' challenge at Inkspirational that I got me thinking first. I liked this idea and I knew I wanted to use this Hummingbird stamp from Penny Black as it curls so much. I wanted to carry on the curl to add more movement and it was the sketch at AAA Cards that gave me the idea of using the grey swirl you see here-this is actually the wine swirl from Visible Image!

And the colours are from the latest challenge at Color Throwdown.

A lot of challenges helped inspire me to make this card and I enjoyed making it especially I was making it for all you incredible Woman!
