CASology #406 'Sand'

Hello my crafty Friends,

Time for a new challenge at CASology and this month our cue word is 'Sand'.

Here is my take:

Just made some sand hills using dies and layered them up at different levels. Then added some fun flip flops and sentiment from Newton's Nook Designs

 Hi All

Time for a new challenge at CASology and our cue word is 'Windy'.

I found the perfect sentiment from Visible Image and here is my card:

Instead of making a sunset image I decided just to go with the colours of rain and sunsets and to balance the card added a few splashes at the top.

I felt the card needed something extra so added a thin piece of twine-not seen very often on my cards!

Our Guest Designer for this post is the very talented Chrissie. I have been a long time fan of her super CAS cards and am delighted she is joining us for this challenge.

I have been playing with another goodie that my dear friend TK sent me-the fab embossing folder I have used in this card:

I just added some glitter card behind it and added a little butterfly on it, using the same card.

 Hi All

I actually had a play with a stencil-well I did this a while ago and today decided to make it into a card.

This is a STAMPlorations stencil that was given to me by the lovely Shery. I like it as it is one of the very few stencils that I can use!

For Mum in Law!

 Hi All

I haven't been crafting for a while but my MIL goes into hospital in a few days and I wanted to get a card done for her.

A few weeks ago I got some goodies from my lovely blogging friend TK. I was overwhelmed with all that she sent me and got to play with them straight away.

The one I have used here is one that you wouldn't normally see me use in the way I did-with detailed colouring!

But I really enjoyed the colouring and loved the final look and even got our cat, Bubbles in on the edge-MIL loves chatting with Bubbles on Facetime so thought she would love to see him on this card!

Sorry for blurred photo but dull here and needed to get it photographed now!

As all the colouring was done, all I needed to do was add the sentiment, so it didn't matter that mojo is low...I could manage that!!
