Have you tried gold glitter ink?
I first heard about this on Tracey's blog. I loved the look this ink gave and hunted to down and now have some. It is called Delicata Golden Glitz. It looks like it has been embossed not stamped-thank you Tracey!

Here is my card today using my new ink:
My butterfly stamp is from the Uniko stamp set 'Bright Butterflies' and the sentiment is also from Uniko 'English Country Garden'-I have embossed the sentiment but the butterfly is all ink!!
I was inspired to make this after seeing a few challenges. The sketch came from a new challenge to me Always Playing with Paper-Challenge #19 and the photo at Runway Inspired is where my idea of gold and a strip of vellum came from (check out the gold striped dress).
I will also enter this into the glitter challenge at Make My Monday
And I will take this opportunity to remind you that the challenge at Uniko Studio this month is Anything Goes with an optional sketch and you can use any stamps you like and be in for a chance to win Uniko Stamps.

ReplyDeleteI haven't seen this ink. I've seen Delicata Gold, is this the same but has a bit more bling to it?? It looks gorgeous with the butterfly and has so much sparkle. Will definitely put this on my Santa List!!

ReplyDeleteI love the gold butterfly too...and nice embossing on vellum Sandie...I managed now to make a purple card but I have no idea..which thema do you like..butterfly...high heel shoe or little girl with cat...please tell me which one you like better a girly card or a card with butterfly or with flower Sandie but I must confess my coloring flower is not so great LOL....hugs, Monika
