I loved everything about Kay's card and have almost just repeated it! I stamped the splashes behind the frame. Cut flowers and leaf dies and just arranged them slightly differently. I liked the grey Kay used but decided to use more pinks and purples and to keep to just a touch of grey. This quite a different card for me-layers and dies, but I have to say I loved making it and really like how it turned out.

Try this link for the humming bird stamp Sandie! I came here from Darnell's as I spotted you asking for a link and think you're UK based. The stamp will ship from the USA but the price is so good and also the shipping is free :-) I ordered one yesterday for myself. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Wood-Mounted-Stamps-Hummingbird-Stamp/dp/B003L2PRPC/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1462523435&sr=8-1&keywords=hummingbird+stamp

ReplyDeleteVery pretty card! I especially love the big die cut leaf, so pretty... And I hope to see you using that frame more often, look great! xxx
ReplyDeleteI so love the classy card and was hoping to have a go at it this weekend, but it was filled up with family visits, spring cleaning and preparations for my MIL's arrival this coming weekend. You did a great job caseing it, giving it a bit more of a modern touch, but it stills looks classy.
ReplyDeleteOh, wonderful splatters! I am so impressed with them. They look like they are exactly where you want them. Love those vellum leaves and the bright flowers too.

Fabulous card Sandie! Great layers and dimension - I know that you don't do this style often but when you do - you do it brilliantly! Love the purple twist too!
