Time Out #161

Hi All,

We have a new challenge at Time Out

And this time it is out Theme challenge:

Don't forget we have an optional twist of making a 'one layer card'.

If you do twist you get a chance of winning a prize from our superb sponsor Birch Press Designs

I decided I would go with 'Literature' as my 'ART' but you can go anyway you want..perhaps movies, painting, music....just whatever you see as 'The Arts'

I have heat embossed thee books with the stamp from Visible Images-Free the Imagination. I distressed the edges just like the torn edges of a well read book!

What book do you think this is???

Now it is your turn to take some Time Out and show us what 'The Arts' mean to you....I can't wait to see where your imagination goes!

Don't forget to pop on over to Time Out and see what inspiration the amazing Design Team have for you

Enjoy x

I will enter this into:

AAA Card Challenge-otional twist-TV-mine is the film 'Book Club'

  1. I realy like the theme of this challenge; you can go so many ways... And books; well they are Art and done after so many hours of labour... I like that you used kraft; makes it such a warm card! Hugs, Gerrina

  4. Love how you mimicked the pages of a book with your distressed edge panel, Sandie ... so clever! I'm put in mind of sitting in a large, comfy sofa in an old bookshop, reading all afternoon! I'm thinking this must be a magical book of some kind ... Narnia, The Hobbit, Harry Potter?! Hugs, Anita :)

  7. Loving the rustic look of your card. Torn edges and grungy colours - that's a bit different for you. Thanks for playing at AAA Cards, hope to see you join in with future challenges too. Keep safe, stay home and craft instead!
