Love!

Hello Again,

This week at Less is More the challenge is to CASE one of the DT.

I chose to CASE Sarah. I am on  a few DTs with Sarah and for a long time have admired her creativity.

Here is my CASE:

I decided to go with the silver embossing, hearts and love theme. Sarah's card is square and I can't remember the last time I made a square card so I decided I would give it a go. I have layered up the die cut 'love' using black card. Sarah wanted to see lots of white space so I listened and gave her lots of white space. This die cut is from Winnie and Walter and has never been used before so I am entering this into Darnell's NBUS challenge #4 as well as Less is More.

Here is Sarah's card-a beauty!

I will also enter this into Winnie and Walter-join in to win-March

The True Gift of Christmas.

Hi All

Yesterday I mentioned I needed to make a few more 'stamp and go' cards and I have one to share with you today.

My evening glow here is just half a circle stamp. The manager is a NBUS Winnie and Walter stamp. I love how this has turned out.

I am going to enter this into the following challenges:

Just Us Girls-black and white plus one other colour

Have a good day my friends x

Inkspirational #74

Hello my crafty friends,

This week at Inkspirational is our Designer's challenge week and it is the very creative Pia who has challenged us to create an 'ombre' project-that means when the colour is graduated in tone e.g. a colour that fades from dark grey to light grey." Of course any colour can be used on the project.

And here is my ombre card:

I have heat embossed a dotted border stamp from Uniko and then used watercolour paints adding the colour at the top near the birds and just adding more and more water to make the colour lighter. I got this idea when I saw this card from Greta. I loved what Greta had done so gave it a go but in a more CAS version. I ended up by adding a few splashes of the paint and some gems.

This week our Guest Designer is Deepti. Deepti is super talented and we are so pleased that Deepti plays along at Inkspirational in many of our challenges and has won on a number occasions.

You can see what Deepti and the rest of the DT have created here

I will enter this into the following challenges:

CASology-nbus-my bird die cut was a gift from a crafty friend and has been sat on my desks for month!

Thank you!

How is your weekend going?

I have been doing some crafting which always makes us happy!!

For Christmas my dear friend Nonni sent me some crafty goodies and I was itching to try out this grungy clock image.

I used the sketch from Happy Little Stampers for my lay out. I stamped some gold splashes first and then heat embossed the clock stamp. I really wanted a grungy look and think I have pulled it off.

A huge thank you Nonni for this set.

I will enter this into:

AAA Cards-use Gold
Crazy for CAS-Use splatters
Darnell's NBUS #3-new clock stamp.
edited to add Less is More-metallic, black and one other-grey (thanks Loll x)
Enjoy your Sunday x

Grateful for you!

Happy Friday to you all!

I was inspired yesterday by a few challenges and made this card:

These are the challenges that inspired me:

Winnie and Walter Birthday Bash-one challenge-one layer. This is my first Winnie and Walter set and I am loving it!

One Layer Simplicity Challenge-Opposite attract. I went for colours that are opposite on the colour wheel and 2 fonts that are very opposite but look so good together

Virgina's View Challenge-Clean Slate-lots of white space here!

Darnell's NBUS #3-I only got this sentiment set from Winnie and Walter the other day and haven't used these words yet!

Have a fun day x.

TIME OUT Challenges #14

Its is Friday Eve again and that means I am here with our next challenge at TIME OUT Challenges. This is the first challenge that our new Design Team members are joining us. I am sure you will make them welcome, visit their blogs and show them some love!

It is 'Home Sweet Home' week and we have this photo to inspire you:

There is so much here that you could use to create. The colours, the twine, the box, any of these words etc. I kept coming back to the photo and all I could think about was sentiments in blocks and this is what I came up with using Avery Elle Stamps

A one layer card with a little linen texture.

I will enter this into the following challenges
CASology-three. When making the card I really wanted to just use one sentiment and one globe but the rule of 3 got me in the end!
NBUS #2-Darnell's challenge-never before used schtuff. I have used the globe many times but the sentiment I have never been able to stamp before but here I used memento luxe ink an it worked like a dream!

Our DT have all come up with some fabulous designs. You can check them out here.

Then take some TIME OUT of your busy life and do some crafting, have some fun and join in our challenge.
I can't wait to see how this photo inspired you!

Addicted to Stamps and More #99

Hello my friends,
It is time for my fav challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More. Yes it is our

Clean and Simple challenge.

And for this week I have created this card for you:

Before I go into how the inspiration for my card came about I wanted to let you know that our DT have made some fab CAS projects and you can see them all here.
Plus this week we have QKR Stampede sponsoring us with 3 digis for our winner.

Now onto my inspiration. I am always fascinated by how a simple card develops and sometimes I like to share this with you, however I know this is not everyone's cup of tea so just skip this bit if you want and get creating a CAS project for us at Addicted to Stamps and More.

This card was inspired by 3 challenges:

1. Fusion-it was DT member and my cousin Lynn who suggested you take a close look at the photo and you will see text on the table mats. I had it in mind to use the text feather stamp from STAMPlorations I have used here for this and was going to use the colours at Fusion until I saw the next challenge that inspired this card.
2. Less is More-to use the colours in your bedroom. Well it will be no surprise to many of you that purple does feature in my bedroom but not the bright purple I often use but this deep purple I have used on the top feather-that I stamped and fussy cut out and popped up on foam pads. And the other colours are the browns of the other feathers and the cream I used for my card base-which is my carpet!
3. And finally I saw the new challenge the lovely Darnell is running for NBUS (never before used schtuff!!) with the theme of friendship. Well Nonni visited me recently and we did a stash swap and these top 2 feathers she gave me and this is the first time I have stamped them up! So not only is this card for a friend but a friend gave me the goodies to use for it!!

All this to make one card! And can you detect the design element (mistake!!)....I didn't really want to add sequins but I managed to smudge brown ink at the last moment so out came the sequins...sssh don't tell anyone!!
