Nonni's Xmas Card Challenge Reminder!

Hello crafting friends,

I am here to remind you that Nonni's Christmas card challeges are still running. There is one for cards where 'stamping' is the star of your card and one where we are asking you to use your stash.

My card today is an example of how to use your stash to make new cards. If you don't have many stamps, die cuts etc, you can hunt through cards that have been sent to you and re-arrange things. This is exactly what I have done for my card. Everything is from shop bought cards that I have been given in the past. I just got out the scissors and chopped things up, re-designed and came up with this:

The only new item is the sentiment that is from our sponsor for this challenge-Stamplorations

This challenge is open until Santa visits on Xmas Eve, so you have plenty of time to play along. And please visit Nonni's blog here to see what the rest of the team have made to inspire you x

Nonni's Christmas Card Challenge #2

Its time for Nonni's 2nd Christmas card challenge and this time we want you to:

'Use Your Stash and Scraps'

Time to hunt through that box of scraps and stash, that gets bigger every day! I decided to stay really true to the challenge and get out a box of cards that I keep-ones that people have given me that have not been hand made! I keep cards that I think have bits on them that I might be able to re-cycle one day! It rarely happens but Nonni's challenge gave me the opportunity to do it. I would urge you to do this as I had so much fun.

Everything (even the gems) are taken from other cards. It is only the sentiment that is not and this was used as it is from Stamplorations who are sponsoring this challenge.

I am hoping that this shows you that if you only have a few craft items you can still create!

Nonni's DT have come up with some great cards for this challenge, take a look here.  Then get out that box of stash and start cutting!!
You have until Santa visits on Christmas Eve to join in the fun. Have fun x

Hello my stamping buddies,

I am here to remind you that Nonni is still having her fab challenge:

Stamp a Happy Christmas!

For this challenge all you need to do is make a Christmas card mainly using stamps. And you have until Santa comes to visit on Xmas Eve to link up. Plus the fabulous new stamp company Stamplorations are sponsoring the prize for our lucky random winner.

I have used the 'oh Christmas tree' stamp set from Stamplorations to make my card:

A brand new Xmas Card Challenge for you!

Today I am very excited to introduce to you a new fun Christmas Card  Challenge. This challenge is being run by my very dear Finnish friend Nonni and it is called:

''Lets Get Inky-Stamp a Happy Christmas"

This challenge is all about using stamping on your card. All styles of cards are welcome and embossing, embellishments and designer papers can all be used on your card but we want the stamping to be the star! You can enter this challenge as many times as you like, combine it with as many other challenges as you want. The winner will be chosen by random and we are very lucky that Shery, one of Nonni's DT, is sponsoring us. Shery owns the fabulous stamp company Stamplorations and there is a stamp set from Stamplorations for the winner! Thank you Shery.

I decided to go with non traditional Xmas colours and a non traditional stamp. I used glitter card stock so not all Xmas traditions are lost!!

I do love this 'kiss' stamp and the sentiment from CAS-ual Fridays just seemed the perfect match after I used used a little masking it get the colour mix.
