This makes me happy!

A very Happy March to you all,

My card today is my first go at using an inlaid die. I am late to the game here and have been meaning to give it a go for a while and now I have, so I am happy!

I need some more practise with this!

This card was inspired by this card here made by Leigh for this week's challenge at CAS(E) this Sketch. I loved how she slotted in different colours and it took me a while to work out how to do this. It meant cutting out a number of dies and a lot of fiddling but I got there in the end.

I had been thinking about making this card for a few days and then when I saw the photo at Just Us Girls with the big sentiment I decided I had to get down to it!

I am also going to enter this into the 'This makes me happy' challenge at Less is More as I am a bit happy with myself for conquering an inlaid die! I am hoping to get another chance to enter LIM with a 'stamp and go CAS card' as these are the ones that make my heart sing...quick easy, a stamp and some ink, we will see how the week goes!

So how does 'Sprinkle' inspire you?

This card is made from the first stamp set I ever bought. I dusted it off and did some colouring to make this:

Colouring, sequins and a button-yes I really did make this and it was fun to do!

We are joined this week by Beate as our Guest Designer. Her blog Stempelomi is full of inspiring projects-go check it out!

The Ink girls have a fabulous gallery of sprinkles for you to be inspired by-check them out here

Uniko Studio Challenge #18 Reminder

Have you joined in our BIRTHDAY challenge at Uniko Studio.

If not you have one more week to play along.

You can use any stamps you like and join in as many times as you like.

I did make a completely different card for this reminder then when I was browsing around blogland a few challenges caught my eye and I decided to make the above card using my Uniko stamp sets-English Country Garden and A gift for you. I stamped the solid butterfly using Delicata gold ink. Then heat embossed the lined butterfly in gold on vellum and fussy cut it.

If you play along you could be for winning some fabulous Uniko Studio goodies and also you could be a Guest Designer in our next challenge!

Need some more inspiration?
Check out what our amazing DT have created here and then get stamping!

This card was inspired by the following challenges:

CASology-mini-mini butterfly and mini mix of gems, sequins and enamel dots.

Time Out Reminder

Hello my friends,

Have you joined in our challenge at Time Out Challenges?

We are being inspired by the words:

ROCK AROUND THE CLOCK

You can use any of these words to inspire you or just use the whole phrase.

I think you can see what inspired my card:

These stamps and dies are all from Clearly Besotted Stamps. I think this will be kept for a 'guy' Birthday card.

Our Guest Designer Hazel has joined us again this week with a super CAS card and you can check that out here where you will also see all the DT's wonderful cards.

You have one week to take some TIME OUT with us-enjoy!

Addicted to Stamps and More #133

It is Holiday Time at Addicted to Stamps and More.

You can create a project for any holiday.

Today I have gone with Easter.

I adore this 'blessing' sentiment from Winnie and Walter and used this as my main focus. I just added a few flower stamps from the Uniko Background Builder Vine set. I only send a couple of Easter cards but am happy with this one, so one to do!

STAMPorlations  are our sponsors this week. You may know I am a fan of their stamps, check out their store here

Our DT have many cards to inspire you here

Enjoy x

I will enter this into the 'mini' challenge at CASology-I have 3 mini flowers!

Time Out Challenge #25

Happy Friday Eve,

This week at Time Out Challenges we are being 'Inspired by Words' and our words are:

Rock around the Clock

You can use just one of these words, 2 or more or just be inspired by the whole phrase. There were so many ways I could have gone with this. In the end I went with clock-as I am sure you can see!

I actually needed a masculine Birthday card so combined a clock stamp with some Uniko text circle stamps and just stamped away! The sketchy sentiment stamp is from STAMPlorations.

Our Guest Designer this week is the very talented Hazel. Her blog Hazel Paper Designs is full of inspiring cards. Hazel is very creative and I love her take on challenges-unique and inspiring-take a peek!

Our DT have all come up with inspiring ways to interpret these words, check them out here and then take some TIME OUT and join in x
